Call for Papers from the Romanian Journal of Political Science (PolSci) – Social and Political Networks

The quantitative methodology of analyzing social and political networks is at the forefront of the international scientific community, thanks to the innovative, empirical and scientific perspective it brings to understanding social, political, individual and group behaviors. Network science applications in social sciences have produced results with real impact, from the capturing of Saddam Hussein, understanding global trade flows, migration patterns and human mobility, to mapping and disrupting organized crime networks or informing public policy in general. Therefore, research applications in this field present not only an academic interest, but also a general interest in innovation, optimization and efficiency of social, economic and political processes. The Romanian Journal of Political Science invites authors to engage with topics in the application of network science to social and political problems in the upcoming, summer 2018 issue. This special issue is of interest to academics, as well as to public policy and non-governmental institutions and business companies with research and development activities in social sciences.
